Anatomy of a wedding invitation… I skipped all the sketching phase. Working with the client over using all your own artistic tastes is a difficult task at times. But at the end of the day it isn’t about you as the artist, but the person receiving the work. Work like this helps me grow as an artist. It makes me focus my skills and learn to make work that both represents myself and the recipient. I only go on this rant to simply log my thoughts and feelings on this individual piece. Another lesson learned in my early stages of selling my art is, when it’s gone it’s gone. The fog in my brain covers the how’s and whys of what I did. And you as the viewer can have a window into this little journey of mine.
Some stuff I have been working on.

2. Mad Hatter
3. Cosmic Flaming Monkey Skull
